Coke Zero brought innovation to the beverage industry by inventing a drink with real Coke taste and zero calories. To bring this same innovative thinking to NCAA basketball we created the Department of Fannovation, a site where fans could submit ideas to improve the game. For themselves.
We kicked off the campaign with a site where fans could watch a short video or download the "brief" about how to enter their idea into the contest. The best ideas were then voted on throughout the NCAA season.
The top ideas were entered into the "Brain Bracket" during March Madness to determine a champion.
